Hi Everyone:
Please write to "Dear Beth" at passion2build@comcast.net and let me know what you think of our kidundrum—have you had this situation in the past, and if so, what did you do about it? I would really be interested in hearing how you solved the problem, and will add as many of your ideas to this page as we can.

RE:Grades
Also, if you have a problem you would like me to answer, send it to passion2build@comcast.net. I will answer as many as I can in the next issue of KidzPost. Remember to sign your name like the above letter. (Examples: Sad and Confused, Mad Friend, etc.) To protect your privacy, do not give us your real name.
Dear Annoyed and Upset,
I understand how you feel when someone yells at you, especially when a parent yells at you. I believe the best way to solve this conflict with your mom is to talk to her. You should start by saying something along the lines of "I understand that you belive that my grades are not as good as they could be, but I try my hardest in school and my classes are challenging, which is why i am getting A's and B's." Maybe you could also talk to her about getting you a tutor. If you feel uncomfortable talking to your mom you should write a letter to her explaining how you feel and why. Also try and study hard and do your best! Good luck!
Sincerely, Beth
Dear Beth,
My mom always yells at me and tells me that I need to work harder and get better grades in school. I have all A's and B's and try my hardest in school, yet my mom still yells at me. What should I do?
Sincerely,
Annoyed and Upset
