Mr. Chicken was taking a walk for 7 ½ miles along the Mississippi River, which was almost deserted. When he stopped for a break, something caught his eye gleaming in the sun. There was a huge heap of gold down by the river. He dashed to it and saw 23 complete, full bars of 24-karat gold. He piled all 23 bars of gold into his Ford F-150 and drove off to his house. When he arrived at his house, he checked the back of his Ford and realized that the trailer door had been wide open on the way home. He counted the gold and realized he had lost most of his bars of gold on the street. He also found that the bars he had left were cracked into pieces by the vibration of the car. He brought his gold inside and estimated that the bars were split up into different fractions. The fractions of the gold bars were: 1/4, 6/24, 6/8, 5/48, 6/9, and 56/192. How many bars does Mr. Chicken have left? Simplify the final answer. Hint: think common denominator.
