Kid Pix is software that you can create wonderful pictures on.   You can create your own stamps, make beautiful fireworks, and listen to a story that you make up.  There are special features on there like a voice and a “no no” eraser.  You can also listen to music while you work with the music device.  You can choose classical, rock, pop, funk, and more.  I think that kid pix is a great creative device that all ages would love!!!

In the title screen, this is free play where there is no objective but you can do whatever you want and test it out.  There is also a place in the game called the level editor.  Unlike other games, in Scribblenauts you can create your own levels.

This is the most creative video game I have ever seen and unlike other games, you can type in any word and a picture of it comes up on the screen.  You just need to think of the right object to help you get the starite (objective for the level), such as trapping robbers or crossing the water filled with crocodiles.

TIPS, TRICKS AND RATINGS:
On the first level before you can do anything, your screen should say, ‘’give two of them what they would want in their hands’’ and there is a doctor, a chief, a fireman and a policeman.  I would give the fireman a hose.   Go to your toolbox and type in HOSE and then touch the check mark and drag the hose to the fireman.  For the second item, give the chief a pot and then the starite will appear, run to it and you will have completed the first level.  Some fun things to do are type in the teleporter and then ride it and you will go to a completely different place and you can explore yourself.

I rate this game a 9.5 out of 10.  These are my factors:
Picture:   8 out of 10
Plot:   10 out of 10
Action: 10 out of 10
Game play: 9.5 out of 10
Creative level: 10 out of 10
Control: 9 out of 10
Scribblenauts is a very creative game for the Nintendo DS.  If you like to start from scratch and be creative in each and every level, this is the game for you.  You start at the school where you learn the different features of the game.  There are eleven levels teaching you things such as using glue and using the notepad.   After that, you can go to your first world.  By earning ollars (the game's money) you can buy more difficult worlds.

Scribblenauts is an excellent game and so popular they have already made a second edition called Super Scribblenauts.  In the new edition they have added adjectives.  For example you can specify “hairy” monster and a hairy monster appears.  They have also changed the level editor*, making it more creative and difficult, adding more detailed levels, and making it possible to share them with your friends.
The main difference between the two games is that Scribblenauts is more action oriented and focused on getting the Starite* and the Super Scribblenauts includes more puzzle levels where you have to write or solve something to get the Starite.  I recommend putting BOTH games on your holiday gift list!

SECRET:  If you type ARCADE MACHINE and tap on it, you will get to play an awesome arcade game.

RATING:  I rate everything a 10/10
